A CONVICTED FELON WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH HUMAN TRAFFICKING AFTER
INVESTIGATORS LOCATED & RECOVERED A MINOR
ANAHEIM, Calif. (November 26, 2024) – A 31-year-old Los Angeles County man has been arrested
by Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force (OCHTTF) Investigators and charged by the Orange
County District Attorney’s Office for human trafficking after OCHTTF Investigators recover a 17-year-
old girl.
On November 21, 2024, OCHTTF Investigators received information about a 17-year-old girl who was
being exploited for purposes of commercialized sex. OCHTTF Investigators, with the assistance of
the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), immediately launched an investigation in order to locate the
girl and identify the person(s) involved in trafficking her. Less than four (4) hours after receiving the
tip, OCHTTF Investigators located and recovered the victim. OCHTTF Investigators identified 31-
year-old Taishaman Adams Arrant as the subject responsible for trafficking the victim, and located him
near where they recovered the victim.
Adams Arrant was arrested for several offenses, including human trafficking of a minor, and was
booked into Anaheim Police Department’s Detention Facility.
On November 25, 2024, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office charged Adams Arrant with PC
236.1(c) – Human Trafficking of a Minor. Adams Arrant remains in custody and is being held in lieu
of $350,000
