Human Trafficking Education Series Announced: 6 sessions
The OCHTTF’s Faith Based Action Subcommittee presents The Call for Compassion: A Human Trafficking Educational Series. Running from March 2025 to January 2026, the 6-part educational series is offering hybrid learning options in person and online hosted at a different church in Orange County every other month. The first part of the series, Human Trafficking 101 and Internet Safety, will kick off at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest on Saturday March 15th with speaker Corrine St. Thomas-Stowers.
Corrine St. Thomas-Stowers brings over 20 years of experience in online child protection, human trafficking operational efforts and actionable intelligence in law enforcement investigations. She has experience working at the Westminster Police Department, Orange County District Attorney’s Office, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and Orange County Intelligence Assessment Center. Currently, she is an Adjunct Professor at Vanguard University in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice.
