On January 31, 2024, STAT II members from numerous clubs joined in an HT Awareness and Education Event, Know More, Do Better, 2.0. More than 500 middle schoolers were taught about the realities of sexual exploitation and human trafficking.

Prevention is the key to ending human trafficking and sexual exploitation. With constant access to social media, middle school children need to know the red flags of dangerous relationships right now. When peer educators talk, the kids listen! It was wonderful to see them so engaged and participating at the Resource Fair. We were thrilled to participate and hope this event continues each January for years to come!
